Prayer Ministry

The Prayer Ministry provides trained prayer intercessors for individual prayer requests at the end of worship services. They also do community outreach with their presences at our outdoor events with Bibles and other materials and a board for posting prayer requests.  They also have prayer walks leaving information about the church at homes in the church’s neighborhood. They also pray for the church staff and the prayer requests submitted to the church office. They provided prayers for the Oasis Newsletter and provide literature for the Prayer Chapel in the Fellowship Hall building and the prayer room in the sanctuary.

Cross in the Desert prays this month for the following churches and ministries: First UMC Gilbert, First UMC Tempe, St. Paul's UMC Globe, The Bridge UMC Phoenix and Velda Rose UMC Mesa.
